At the request of Abraham Amirchanianz, son of Mirza Ferukh the BFBS decided to print his father’s MS version of the NT, after revision by Amirchanianz, who also translated Romans, which was lacking in the MS. Published London: BFBS, 1877. (DM 9383). The New Testament, London: BFBS, 1878.

Scope and Contents ff.137; 220 x 170mm; text size 165 x 110mm; 7 lines, unbound.Translated by Mirza Ferukh (or Farrukh), and Felix Zaremba, at Shusha, in Transcaucasia, and revised by Karl Gottlieb Pfander, Basel MS, who became a missionary of the CMS in 1840 at Agra. In 1836, the BFBS received the MS of St. Matthew’s Gospel, but in 1835 this branch of the Basel Mission had been suppressed and the missionaries expelled. In 1840 the MS translation of the three other Gospels reached the BFBS and in 1842...
